U.S. Navy - Seawolf Submarine
York Marine Systems, a marketing unit of York International, designed and supplied new chillers for the Seawolf, developing all-new electronic controls and a new centrifugal compressor to provide Marinepak chiller capable of withstanding the rigors of undersea warfare. The Seawolf use four 225-ton Marinepak chillers, arranged in two duplex configurations, to keep the officers and crew aboard the submarine comfortable and cool the sophisticated electronic equipment.
