CYK Water-to-Water Compound Centrifugal Chiller/Heat Pump

400 – 2,000 ton (1,406 – 7,033 kW) cooling. Turn the corner from fossil fuel burning boilers in campus buildings with standalone heating and cooling needs by electrifying with the purpose-built YORK® CYK — jump-starting your path to decarbonization in buildings with lesser heating and cooling loads. The CYK Compound Centrifugal Heat Pump is the ideal, high-efficiency electric heating solution for HVAC systems delivering high-temperature hot water as high as 180 °F (82 °C)​.

    All-new CYK-400

    York extended the application range of the CYK product line with the all-new reduced capacity CYK-400. This new range offers 3–5x more efficiency than conventional fossil fuel burning systems, reducing operational costs up to 50% vs. a traditional boiler and chiller combination. The CYK-400 has been engineered to adapt to a variety of applications from data centers and dry cooling to light commercial buildings, small hospitals and industrial processes.     • Two electric motor-driven centrifugal compressors deliver simultaneous hot water and chilled water @ 42 °F (5 °C) / 180 °F (82 °C)​
    • At 400 tons (1,406 kW) cooling and 7,000 MBH (2,051 kW) heating the CYK-400 offers a reduced capacity with all the features expected from the CYK product line
    • Certifications: ASME, UL/ETL
    • Optional, patented double-bundle condenser for the most efficient management of part-load conditions
    • Compressors and motors mounted above the shells for a compact footprint
    • Patented OptiSoundTM Control for reduction in operational sound levels
    • Turndown: 25% of design capacity made possible through VSD and compressor VI control technologies
    • Refrigerants: R-1234ze or R-515B
    • Compound chiller design (two compressors in series)
