  When it comes to green manufacturing, YORK® is leading the charge. In order to lower our manufacturing footprint, we run our Wichita, Kansas, plant solely on wind-powered electricity. This facility produces zero emissions from electricity and reduces our North American greenhouse gas emissions by 18%. 

• Designed for Efficiency
  Nearly half of all YORK® air conditioners, heat pumps and furnaces have earned the ENERGY STAR® label. This label was created by the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Products with the ENERGY STAR® label save at least 15% to 25% more energy than standard products.

  But it's not just YORK® products that lead the way in energy efficiency. Our parent company, Johnson Controls, Inc., has been recognized by the EPA as an ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year.*
